M\u011blo j\u00edt o auto, p\u0159ezd\u00edvan\u00e9 jako TPV. Tato zkratka ve francouz\u0161tin\u011b \u201etr\u00e9s petite voiture\u201c znamen\u00e1 n\u011bco ve smyslu velmi mal\u00e9ho vozidla. Auto m\u011blo pojmout \u010dty\u0159i dosp\u011bl\u00e9 osoby a uv\u00e9zt celkem 50 kg n\u00e1kladu k tomu. Nebyl to snadn\u00fd \u00fakol, proto\u017ee celkov\u00e1 hmotnost vozu (bez benz\u00ednu a technick\u00fdch kapalin) nesm\u011bla p\u0159evy\u0161ovat 400 kg a spot\u0159eba paliva se musela vej\u00edt do 5 litr\u016f benz\u00ednu na 100 km. Z\u00e1rove\u0148 m\u011bl b\u00fdt automobil dob\u0159e ovladateln\u00fd i pro \u017eeny (to m\u016f\u017eete vid\u011bt pr\u00e1v\u011b ve filmu \u010cetn\u00edk a \u010detnice, jak v\u016fz \u0159\u00edd\u00ed ctihodn\u00e1 sestra). A nakonec cena po\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed aut\u00ed\u010dka m\u011bla b\u00fdt maxim\u00e1ln\u011b p\u011bt tis\u00edc frank\u016f. Cena m\u011bla tedy dos\u00e1hnout sotva t\u0159etiny klasick\u00e9ho tehdy vyr\u00e1b\u011bn\u00e9ho Citro\u00ebnu. Vozidlo dostupn\u00e9 za rozumnou cenu i pro chud\u00e9 Tehdej\u0161\u00ed \u0161\u00e9f automobilky Citro\u00ebn p\u0159i\u0161el s t\u00edm, \u017ee maj\u00ed tak\u00e9 chud\u00ed lid\u00e9 pr\u00e1vo vlastnit automobil, a v\u00fdvoj vozu TPV byl tedy posv\u011bcen ze v\u0161ech stran. Bohu\u017eel do t\u00e9to \u010dinorod\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce zas\u00e1hl Adolf Hitler se sv\u00fdmi nohsledy a s t\u011bmi, kte\u0159\u00ed ho podpo\u0159ili ve volb\u00e1ch. Jak to dopadlo, v\u00edme v\u0161ichni, p\u0159i\u0161la nejkrut\u011bj\u0161\u00ed v\u00e1lka v d\u011bjin\u00e1ch lidstva. Ov\u0161em pro v\u00fdvoj vozu TPV to m\u011blo vliv relativn\u011b p\u0159\u00edzniv\u00fd. K nadch\u00e1zej\u00edc\u00edmu autosalonu v Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ei v roce 1939 nebyl toti\u017e v\u016fz je\u0161t\u011b dostate\u010dn\u011b p\u0159ipraven a mohl se pak potaj\u00ed i v pr\u016fb\u011bhu okupace hitlerovsk\u00fdm N\u011bmeckem d\u00e1le vyv\u00edjet. V\u00e1lka skon\u010dila a v roce 1948, dokonce na autosalonu v Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ei, se v\u016fz Citro\u00ebn 2CV ji\u017e zjevil v pln\u00e9 kr\u00e1se. Po\u0159adn\u00edky na auto, \u010dekalo se a\u017e \u010dty\u0159i roky! Prvn\u00ed s\u00e9riov\u011b vyr\u00e1b\u011bn\u00e9 vozy se na ve\u0159ejnost dostaly a\u017e v roce 1949. Pov\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9 obdob\u00ed bylo ve Francii je\u0161t\u011b sice pln\u00e9 vzpom\u00ednek na krutosti v\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9ho b\u011bsn\u011bn\u00ed a na miliony ob\u011bt\u00ed, ale lid\u00e9 se radovali z nov\u011b nabyt\u00e9 svobody. Radost jim p\u0159inesla i k\u00fdvaj\u00edc\u00ed \u201ekachna\u201c, jak se j\u00ed p\u0159ezd\u00edvalo, objedn\u00e1vky rostly, a nakonec se v po\u0159adn\u00edku \u010dekalo na auto i n\u011bkolik let. Up\u0159ednost\u011bni byli zv\u011brol\u00e9ka\u0159i, sedl\u00e1ci, l\u00e9ka\u0159i a duchovn\u00ed. Na ka\u017ed\u00e9ho se v\u0161ak dostalo a auto Citro\u00ebn 2CV se vyr\u00e1b\u011blo a\u017e do roku 1990. Celkem spat\u0159ilo sv\u011btlo sv\u011bta zhruba 3 miliony a 500 tis\u00edc vyroben\u00fdch kus\u016f. Posledn\u00ed z nich slavnostn\u011b ukon\u010dil v\u00fdrobu \u201ekachny\u201c 27. 7. 1990.
